Am I covered for Fire Brigade charges?

Fire Brigade Charges are included our Comprehensive and our Third Party, Fire & Theft Car Insurance Policy. For a full summary on inclusions and exclusions, view our summary table here.

What do I do if there are Fire Brigade charges?

If the Fire Brigade is involved in your motor accident, we will cover those charges up to a maximum of €1,500, so no need for alarm bells regarding your policy.

If a Fire Authority is called out to your motor accident, we will pay for reasonable charges for which you are legally liable. The maximum we will pay under this Policy will be €1,500 in aggregate, regardless of the section of the Fire Services Act 1981 it is claimed under.
