What am I covered for?
If your property is damaged so badly you can’t live in it, we’ll pay for comparable alternative accommodation for you, your household and your domestic pets until the property is fit to live in again. If you’re renting out the property, we’ll pay the rent you would have received in the time it takes to get it fixed.
What am I not covered for?
- Costs you agree to pay without our written permission
- Loss through delays caused by incorrect building planning permissions
- Costs from damage covered elsewhere in the Buildings section
