What is excluded from Clean Up Expenses?

Certain situations are excluded from Clean Up Expenses coverage, including:

  • Excess: The excess amount as specified in your schedule.
  • Extended Unoccupancy: Loss or damage occurring after the property has been unoccupied for more than 45 consecutive days or if the property is unfurnished.
  • Coverage Limit: Any amount exceeding €2,000 in respect of any one claim under the policy.

What should I do if my property has been unoccupied?

The coverage does not apply if the property has been unoccupied for more than 45 consecutive days or if the property is unfurnished. Please ensure your property is regularly checked and maintained.

Is there a limit to the number of claims I can make?

There is no specific limit to the number of claims, but each claim must not exceed €2,000, and you must pay the excess specified in your schedule.
