Don’t let a faulty fridge or freezer leave you cold. At 123.ie, if your freezer goes on the blink for reasons beyond your control, we’ll cover the cost of any food that’s spoilt as a result.
What am I covered for?
You’re covered for loss of, or damage to, refrigerated food through technical issues beyond your control. You’re also covered for loss of, or damage to, food you’ve had to take out of the deep freezer for the same reason.
What am I not covered for?
We can’t cover you if:
- Your power supply provider intentionally restricts your power
- The damage was caused by neglect on your part
- The damage happened after your property was unoccupied for over 45 consecutive days
- The property is not your main private dwelling
- The damage exceeds €2,000 per claim
How much am I covered for?
You’re covered for €2,000 for any one claim.
