It was an unforgettable weekend in Espoo, Finland in what was an epic showcase from our brightest athletic stars!

It was a case of 1,2,3 on Saturday as our 4x100M and 4x400M broke national records 3 times with brand ambassador Israel Olatunde running an impressive final leg where the 4x100M came 5th overall in Europe.

All eyes were on the ladies 1500M final after both Sarah Healy and Sophie O'Sullivan won their heats respectively and led to much hope of a 1-2 finish for Ireland, something that has never happened before in these championships for Ireland. Healy and O’Sullivan are no strangers to European success, and both came into this week with lofty expectations as the first (Healy) and second (O’Sullivan) ranked athletes.

Fans were not left disappointed after both Sophie and Sarah ran a thrilling final with Sophie running a PB of 4.07.18 to come out on top and secure gold for Ireland with Healy claiming sliver.
