The 123.ie AAI National Outdoor League Final held on July 28th, showcased thrilling competitions and remarkable performances. In the premier division, Clonliffe Harriers (Men) and Leevale (Women) emerged victorious, while Kilkenny City Harriers (Men) and Tir Chonaill (Women) claimed the top spots in the division 1 finals.
Some notable performances included
- Marcus Lawler: Dominated the sprints with victories in the 100m (10.28) and 200m (20.71)
- Simon Galligan: Excelled in the hammer throw (54.01m)
- Niall Allen: Topped the standings in the shot put (10.78m)
- David Donegan: Achieved the best vault of the day in the pole vault (4.10m)
- Jerome Caprice: Won the 1500m walk (6:27.75)
- Joe Hastings: Took first place in the 1500m (4:02.58)
- David Bosch: Claimed victory in the 400m (47.55)
- Michael Heal: Excelled in the discus (50.96) and weight for distance (9.02)
- Andrew Scanlon: Led in the javelin (48.95)
- 4x100m Relay Team: Delivered a strong performance
