Do I have a No Claims Bonus as a named driver?

No, as a named driver on a 123.ie policy, you do not earn a No Claims Bonus (NCB). However, if you're a named driver on a policy for at least 1 full year without claims, you may qualify for a Named Driving Experience discount.

Where can I get a copy of my documents?

When your policy was set up with 123.ie, your documents were sent to you. If you gave us an email address, they may have been emailed—so don’t forget to check your inbox and folders.

Need another copy? You can now access it any time through My123 under ‘Documents’. Or just contact our Customer Care team, and we’ll email them to you for free.

When do I get my insurance certificate and disc?

Once you’ve sent us proof of your no claims bonus/named driving experience and any driving licences we require, we’ll issue your insurance certificate and disc. You can send these documents by:

  • Post 123.ie, RSA House, Dundrum Town Centre, Sandyford Road, Dundrum, Dublin 16

  • Online Log in to your My123 account and use the upload feature

Haven’t received that proof yet? It’s usually included in your renewal pack from your previous insurer. If not, contact them directly for a copy. If we don’t get the documents within 10 days of your policy start date, your Car Insurance policy could be cancelled.

How do I nominate a third party to deal with my policy on my behalf?

You can nominate someone aged 18+ to manage your policy, giving them limited (information only) or full (changes permitted) access. Permissions can be verbal or written, depending on access level.

My documents have been emailed to me but I cannot open them

We send most of your insurance documents as PDF attachments. If you're unable to open them, it likely means your device doesn’t have a PDF viewer installed.

Here’s what you can do:
