Am I covered to drive if I've just had surgery?

For Car Insurance Customers

Following a surgery, including a caesarean section, you will be covered to drive your car once your doctor has told you it is safe to do so. You are not covered to drive until your doctor confirms it is safe to do so.

Recovery time varies greatly between procedures and patients so please make sure you have spoken to your doctor before you start to drive again.

Because the decision regarding your ability to drive is up to your doctor there is no need to contact us in order to be covered.
