Insurance Customers
Under the liability to others section of your policy you are covered to tow a trailer or a disabled vehicle once you are legally allowed to do so.
A trailer includes:
- Caravans
- Mobile homes
- Horsebox
- Trailer tents
- Boat trailers
Before you tow a trailer, you should always check that the trailer you are towing complies with the applicable laws and regulations. More information is available through the Road Safety Authority (www.rsa.ie)
Please Note:
Anything that you are towing will be covered on a third party only basis whilst attached. There is no cover for loss or damage to the trailer itself or its contents.
