When will my documents arrive?
Once you establish your Car or Home Insurance policy, we will send your policy pack and insurance schedule right away. If you've provided an email, you might receive these instantly in your inbox.
Prefer paper copies? Those typically land within 3–5 working days.
What might delay the arrival of my car insurance documents?
If your insurance certificate and disc haven't arrived yet, it usually means we're waiting on extra information. Common items we might ask for include:
- Proof of your no claims bonus or named driving experience.
- Clear images of the front and back of licences for all named drivers.
- Occasionally, copies of your current NCT and tax certificates or discs.
Make sure you send these to us within 10 days of your policy start date—otherwise, your cover could be at risk.
How can I submit the required documents?
Submitting documents promptly ensures timely processing. You can send the necessary documents through the following methods:
-
Online - Upload via our My123 portal for both Car and Home insurance.
-
Email - Attach and email Car Insurance documents directly to motor@123.ie.
-
Mail them to - 123.ie, RSA House, Dundrum Town Centre, Sandyford Road, Dundrum, Dublin 16
