How do I add a bicycle to my policy?
If you want your bicycle to be covered when you're out and about, you’ll need to list it as a specified item under All Risks Cover.
What do I need to provide?
When you call us, we’ll ask for:
-
Make and model – brand and version of the bicycle
-
Serial number – the unique ID stamped on the frame
-
Value – the amount you paid or its current market value up to a maximum of €1,500. Keep in mind that any bike worth >€1,500 won’t be covered.
This helps us make sure your cover reflects what your bike is really worth.
Will it cost extra?
Yes, there may be an additional premium based on your bike’s value and details. Cover limits and exclusions apply, so always check your policy documents to understand exactly what’s included.
How long does it take for bicycle cover to become active?
Once you’ve submitted all the required details and Customer Care confirms the change, the updated cover generally becomes active immediately or from a specified future date, as agreed during the call.
How do I get in touch?
Give our Customer Care team a call on 01 524 6029. We’ll walk you through it and make any updates for you. Don’t have Home Insurance with us yet? See what’s included and get a quote here.
