When do I get my insurance certificate and disc?
To issue your certificate and disc, we’ll need a few documents from you - mainly proof of your no-claims bonus, named driving experience, or Driving Licence. This shows how many years you’ve driven without making a claim. Your previous insurer usually sends this with your renewal notice. If not, just give them a call to request it.
What documents do I need to send?
To avoid delays, make sure you send:
-
Your no-claims bonus or named driving experience
-
Copies of the front and back of each driver’s licence on your policy
-
In some cases, a copy of your current NCT cert and tax disc
These should be sent within 10 days of your policy start date. If we don’t get them in time, your Car Insurance policy could be cancelled.
