If your dog is classified under the Control of Dogs Acts as a dangerous breed, you must ensure:
- Your dog is always muzzled in public.
- Your dog remains under effective control.
- Your dog is easily identifiable at all times.
Failure to comply with these conditions could affect your insurance cover.
What isn’t covered by my Home Insurance?
Your insurance doesn’t cover certain pet-related incidents, including:
- Damage your pet causes to your own home (buildings or contents).
- Injury your pet causes to yourself or other members of your household.
