Getting your No Claims Bonus (NCB) certificate from 123.ie is quick and easy. Here’s how:

Accessing Your NCB Online

  1. Log in to Your Account Visit the My123 Portal and sign in.

  2. Find Your Renewal Offer Your NCB is included in your renewal pack, available in your account documents.

  3. Download & Print Once located, you can download and print your NCB certificate for your records or to provide to a new insurer.

Receiving Your NCB by Email or Post

  • Email If you’ve provided an email address, we may have sent your renewal pack (including your NCB) directly to your inbox. Check your email for this document.

  • Post If we don’t have an email on file, your NCB would have been mailed to your registered address.

What If Your Policy Was Cancelled Mid-Term?

If your policy was cancelled mid-term and there were no outstanding balances, your NCB would have been issued at the time of cancellation. If you didn’t receive it or need another copy, we can help.

Understanding No Claims Discount (NCD) Rules

  • If you don’t make a claim, your NCD increases annually up to the maximum discount allowed.

  • If you make a claim, your discount may reduce depending on your level of NCD protection:

    • No NCD Protection – Your discount resets to zero.

    • Step-Back NCD Protection Your NCD is reduced by three stages on the discount scale.

    • Full NCD Protection Your first claim within three years won’t affect your discount, but further claims will step back your discount.

  • Some claims won’t impact your NCD, such as windscreen damage or keycare claims.
