Am I covered for personal injury?

Yes, your 123.ie policy covers personal injuries, but specifics differ between Car and Home Insurance. Here’s how each one works:

What personal injury cover does my Car Insurance policy provide?

Your Car Insurance policy offers:

  • Unlimited third-party injury cover - You’re protected against claims from other people involved in an accident where you're at fault.

  • Personal accident benefit - We provide compensation if you or your spouse suffer serious injuries directly due to an accident involving your insured car. Covered injuries include death, complete loss of sight, or loss of limbs.

  • Accident & emergency cover - We’ll reimburse medical expenses up to €100 per person for immediate treatment if you or your passengers get hurt in a car accident.

How does my Home Insurance policy cover personal injury?

Your Home Insurance policy includes:

  • Liability to others - You’re covered up to €3,000,000 if someone outside your household is injured on your property, provided you or a household member is legally responsible.

  • Domestic employee cover - Injuries to people legally employed in your home—like cleaners, babysitters, or gardeners—are covered while they’re working on your property.

Please note, injuries to you or anyone living in your home aren’t covered under this policy.
