How do I change my level of cover?

When You Can Increase and Decrease Your Cover

You can change your level of cover in the situations below:

For Car Insurance Customers

You can increase your level of cover:

  • At your renewal date
  • If you are permanently changing your car
  • Within your 14-day cooling-off period
  • You can usually reduce your level of cover at any point during the policy term.

For Travel Insurance Customers

You can increase or decrease your level of cover:

  • At your renewal date
  • Within your 14-day cooling-off period
  • If no claims are made on the policy
  • Once your trip has not commenced

  3. Confirm the update - Once you’re happy, we’ll update your policy.
