I am moving home. What do I need to do?
When moving to a new home, you can't directly transfer your existing 123.ie Home Insurance policy to another property. Instead, you'll need to cancel your current policy and then set up a new one for your new home.
How do I cancel my existing home insurance policy?
Cancel easily by calling our Customer Care team on 01 524 6029. Simply provide the date you'd like your current policy to end. If cancelling via email, ensure the email comes from the address associated with your policy and clearly confirms your cancellation request.
Cancellation conditions to note include:

If cancelling after the 14-day cooling-off period, you'll incur a €25 cancellation fee, plus payment for days covered.

Direct debit service charges are non-refundable once we’ve applied for your first instalment.

If you've made a claim during the policy term, you won't receive a refund.
However, we waive the €25 cancellation fee if you take out a new home policy with 123.ie for your new property.
What if my policy covers a let property or holiday home?
If your policy is for a rental property or holiday home, simply notify us of your new address by calling 01 524 6029 or emailing info@123.ie, and we'll update your postal details accordingly.
